Mid 2000s myspace band. I remember coming across them when I was ripping stuff of myspace a few years ago. I neglected ripping them along with a lot of other stuff, since I never expected myspace to crap out (ugh.) Anyway I came across their stuff on soulseek, so here it is. In terms of sound, it's very mid 2000s myspace/mp3/cmhwak skram if that's any description, actually sounds very similar to a band that I can't put my finger on. Not bad.

March 15th

March 15th are: Chris, Kevin, Keith, Pat and Andrew They were a short lived post-hardcore/screamo seemingly coming from Washington State, USA. After the break up, some members moved on to play smokersdieyounger. http://web.archive.org/web/20040208132223/http://march15th.tripod.com:80

Seems to be active around 2004. A lot of the songs are quite bass-heavy and definitely some noodling going on. I think it's kind of interesting. The website above is a pretty good snapshot of their website. I was amazed to find that a few of the mp3s on the site were still listenable/downloadable, I've never seen that in an archive before. Anyway, I have here a full release, a few tracks off a release mentioned on their website, and another random song.

Best Left Forgotten

Got this lost and forgotten item from Reddit. The user gave me a short description

They were around 2002-03 and played only about a dozen shows in western North Dakota. The guitarist/lead vocalist Vanessa and other guitarist, her then boyfriend Jerik (my high school friend) later had an an acoustic project called In Ink Please that I believe released a full length. Jerik also played for awhile as the guitarist in the Fargo metalcore band Hands around 2010

Alright, so most of the songs have pretty cringe early 2000's singing on them, but there definitely seems to be some influence of stuff like In Loving Memory, and The Spirit of Versailles.  Check it out if you're curious.

I have collected some of the more emo/screamo stuff from there, but if you are into hardcore/punk/grindcore/powerviolence check out the entire thing. I have previously featured some of these bands in the past. My current favourite is this The Lazarus Plot song, really sad and beautiful.

This seems like it's the only release between bands Tetsuo & Edgar. They're both from Long Island, NY and play some pretty classical mid 90s heavy stuff. Lots of angsty screaming and spoken words, both bands seem to be formed from quite young members. Check it out.

Managed to get some info from a member of the band on Reddit. This is a rip by me, and from my knowledge digital tracks of this do not exist anywhere else. You should listen to it since it's also quite good.

we were active from around 97 through 01

Is the one release I have on my blog all you've released?

pretty much yes. we did one song on a comp from a label called Reason Y but it sounds nothing like this. after the bassist left we got a bunch of new members and i pretty much stopped doing vocals. we got a female vocalist too. it was ok but never the same.

Did you, or any of the other band members play in any other bands after/before?

the bassist went on to be in Read Yellow and still plays around Boston. The drummer did a few local things. I played in a metal band called Acariya and a post rock band called Maritime Pilot. i'm currently working on a new project.

Do you have any thoughts or words on the scene that you were part of (where were you from)?

I'm from Massachusetts and the scene that Noahs Dove was part of was great. The Amherst/Northampton Ma scene was so fun. We had bands like Orchid, Tipping Canoe, Wolves, there and then in the Boston area we had Cave in, Piebald, Isis. The guys from Jeromes Dream used to come up and play all the time.

Did you play any shows with interesting/noteworthy bands?

well we played with all the bands listed above. we also played with drowning man, 400 years, aus rotten (that was weird)

How did you get on this release with Delvic?

they were/are really good friends of ours and from the area.
