Hit Self Destruct was about five or six years late. Originally formed in 2000 in an attempt to rip-off Shotmaker, the band went through a number of lineup changes, several west-coast tours and five recording sessions. The band went away in 2004 leaving a split 7" with New Brutalism, two compilation tracks and a whole bunch of unreleased songs.I don't have too much to say about this one. They seem most popular from their Wayfarers All Compilation track, the rest seems pretty obscure. It's not bad, definitely has a pretty mainstream 90's early 2000's sound to it, slightly generic. I can kind of hear the Shotmaker influence on some of the later tracks. Check it out if you're curious.
